Lubricating oil viscosity index improvers

Uses : Gasoline engine oils , Automatic transmission oils ,
Gear oils , Hydraulic oils

Reduce the change in viscosity experienced by lubricating oils when oil temperature rises.
Lubricating oils are used across a broad temperature range, from low to high temperatures (such as temperature increases during operation and temperature drops in winter), and the smaller the viscosity change (the higher the viscosity index), the greater the benefit to improved fuel efficiency.

Pour point depressants

Uses : Gasoline engine oils , Automatic transmission oils , Marine engine oils , Hydraulic oils

Improve the fluidity of lubricating oils at low temperatures and lower the pour point (the temperature just before the oil solidifies).

Fuel oil cold flow improvers

Uses : Diesel engine oils , Bunker A oil

Improve the low temperature fluidity of diesel oil and bunker A oil in winter.

Diesel oil lubricity improvers

Uses : Diesel engine oils

Suppress wear on diesel fuel injection pumps in accordance with the reduction of the sulfur content in diesel oil.

Biodiesel fuel cold flow improvers

Uses : Diesel engine oils

Improve the low temperature fluidity of biodiesel fuels produced from waste cooking oil, etc.

Rust preventives

Uses : Gasoline engine oils , Diesel engine oils , Gear oils , Automatic transmission oils

Create an absorption film on the surface of metals such as iron and copper to protect the metal surface from coming in contact with water and oxygen in the atmosphere, preventing the occurrence of rust.

Synthetic lubricating oil bases

Uses : Synthetic lubricating oils , greases

As a base for synthetic lubricating oils and greases, etc. suppress temperature-based viscosity changes and sludge formation.

Extreme pressure additives

Uses : Lubricating oil additives , Cutting , Deformation processing , Metalworking fluids , Greases , Gear oils

Form a metal coating on metal surfaces, offering outstanding lubrication performance.
Improve the ability to decrease wear, significantly reduce the coefficient of friction, and prevent burning.

Various metal deactivators

Uses : Metal substrates , Power cables

Prevent corrosion and protect metal surfaces from external corrosive substances and organic acids generated by the degradation of lubricating oils.


Uses : Acrylic resins, etc.

Acrylic paints, clear resins, plastics, and other materials.

High temperature lubricants

Uses : Grease base oils , Hydraulic oils

Offer outstanding heat- and oxidation-resistance and maintain a liquid state for extended periods of time in high temperature environments.

Metalworking fluids

Uses : Cutting oils , Rolling oils , Drawing oils , Heat treating oils , Rust preventive oils

Offer lubrication, cooling, cleansing, and other capabilities when machining metals.

Fatty acid esters

Uses : Hydraulic oils , Greases

Offer outstanding heat resistance, wear resistance, and oxidation stability as well as fire resistance and maintenance management characteristics.

Uses : Lubricating oil bases for industrial oils , Lubricating oil bases for synthetic oils , Construction materials (flooring, wallpaper, etc.) , Daily products (packaging supplies, etc.) , Automotive components (interior coverings, etc.)

Substances for adding pliability to a given material and for making working easier. Primarily used to make plastics more pliable, particularly polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Pliability can be freely controlled per the amount added, making it possible to adapt plastics to a wide range of uses.

Anti-wear agents

Uses : Hydraulic oils , Engine oils , Gear oils

Form a protective coating on metal surfaces, preventing direct contact between friction surfaces as well as metal surface adhesion, reducing wear.

Nonferrous metal corrosion inhibitors
/metal deactivators

Uses : Hydraulic oils , Gear oils

Accelerates oxidation reactions in metal, forming a coating on metal surfaces, or reacting with metal dissolved in oil to transform it into inert compounds, mitigating effects on metal. Indirectly slows the degradation of lubricating oils, extending their life.

Oiliness improvers

Uses : Metalworking fluids , Gear oils , Slideway oils

Improve lubricity by forming an oil film on metal friction surfaces, reducing friction and wear.

Oxidation inhibitors
(for lubricating oils/fuel oils)

Uses : Metalworking fluids , Gear oils , Engine oils

Prevent the oxidation of lubricating oils caused by oxygen in the atmosphere and suppress the formation of grime (varnishes, sludge) caused by oxidation.

Rust inhibitors

Uses : Metalworking fluids , Lubricating oils , Fuel oils

Form a coating which protects metal surfaces from rust and corrosion.

Corrosion inhibitors

Uses : Engine oils , Gear oils , Greases

Neutralize corrosive oxidation products formed via oil degradation. In addition, form a coating which protects metal surfaces from rust and other corrosion.


Uses : Water-soluble machining oils , Water-soluble hydraulic oils , Fire-resistant hydraulic oils

Substances for forming stable emulsions which are amphiphilic, being both hydrophilic and lipophilic. In general, amphiphilic chemical surfactants are frequently used.

Antifoaming agents

Uses : Metalworking fluids , Engine oils , Coatings

Additives added to prevent foaming in liquids, or to eliminate foam which has formed.
A wide variety of antifoaming agents exist.

Fuel oil liquid dyes

Colored substances used to color water and oils, etc. by dissolving them with a special solvent.


Uses : Coatings/rubbers/resins

Modifiers for coatings, rubbers, tires, etc.

Water treatment facilities
/microbial formulations

Uses : Water treatment

Enhance microbial treatment capabilities in water treatment. The activity of special microbes contained in the formulations reduces treated water COD and BOD while also enhancing the capability to respond to changes in load.

Logistics materials

Uses : Containers/pallets

Materials such as recycled IBCs, recycled plastic pallets, and plastic containers contribute to environmental conservation and logistics cost reductions.
